Labs Hours
There should be more open lab hours next week but for now, it looks like here's the schedule.
Student Exhibition Opportunity

Philadelphia Sculptors is offering a great opportunity for artists interested in making artistic statements about environmental issues. In conjunction with a major exhibition on global warming to be held at the Icebox Gallery at the Crane Arts Building in Philadelphia, we are sponsoring a competition for college students on the same theme. Students presently enrolled, and 2007 and 2008 graduates of Moore College of Art and Design, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Tyler School of Art, The University of the Arts, and the University of Pennsylvania are eligible to apply.
We are seeking submissions of original 2D and 3D work in any media. The artwork must address the theme of climate change, but artists may expand their areas of inquiry to include sociological, psychological, political, philosophical, cultural, economic, and medical concerns, as well as scientific ones. Artworks which suggest ways of positively transforming the environment or providing creative solutions to any of the problems created by global warming are especially encouraged.
The show will run from September 30th, 2008 October 18th, 2008, and all work must be submitted digitally. A Best in Show cash prize will be awarded. Jurors for the exhibition will be Margery Amdur, Professor of Art at Rutgers University, and Warren Angle, Exhibitions Curator at the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia. This Is It
Hola,
This semester all Foundation Computer students will create a blog at blogger.com You will upload all of your class assignments as jpgs along with a brief statement about your thoughts, approach, and reaction to each assignment. You'll also need to create a "Links" section on your blog, linking to all of your classmates' blogs.
When you upload an image of a project, make sure that you add a few lines describing your thoughts on the project. If you leave comments on someone else's blog, please keep them clean and cruelty free.
